20世纪90年代初,钱学森开始了解到“Virtual Reality”(虚拟现实技术),立刻想到将之应用于人机结合和人脑开发的层面上,并给其取名为“灵境”。他认为,灵境技术的产生和发展将扩展人脑的感知和人机结合的体验,使人与计算机的结合进入到深度结合的时代。
